As a part of my new project at university I will be looking at traditional objects and patterns from the East, focussing on all things Japanese and Chinese. My visual research has begun by visiting a Japanese Flower garden just outside of Nottingham. I thought I would share with you some of the photographs from the day out, luckily the weather was on my side. The garden is for meditation and aims to promote a relaxing and calm environment. Thanks for reading! I hope to visit China Town in Manchester in the next few weeks so will share my photographs with you all from that day out too, I just hope the weather is as beautiful as it was this week.
